Who We Are ?
The Region One American Quarter Horse Affiliates (R1AQHA) is a non profit organization developed from a voluntary confederation of AQHA recognized affiliates within Region One. The AQHA recognized Affiliates of Region One are ALASKA, BRITISH COLUMBIA, IDAHO, OREGON and WASHINGTON STATE Quarter Horse Associations.

Our Purpose
The purpose of the R1AQHA is to aid its member affiliates in the promoting, developing programs and marketing of the American Quarter Horse at a regional level as a breed in any and all matters such as may pertain to the history, breeding, exhibition, publicity, recreational riding, ownership, sales, racing or improvements of the breed throughout the affiliates compromising the R1AQHA.

Our Service
Through this website we will serve as a clearing house for Region One affiliate's information and create a comprehensive calendar for the events, contests, shows, and exhibitions where American Quarter Horses and their owners prominently compete and/or attend. AQHA Alliance partner groups and subgroups are invited to submit their calendars of events to this central Regional Calendar to encourage greater awareness of and participation in their events.
